Inspiration for the piece:

We all have choices in life and we all struggle in our own ways. It's how we choose to cope with it. Everything happens for a reason.

What role does art play in your life?

Art helps me with my own mental health and lets me speak emotions through pen/paper. What inspires me is my own struggles make me who I am.

Artist statement:

Everything is based on "circle of life." We all have choices and that's what makes us who we are. Based on Native traditions and the losses we endure not just for me but for our murdered and missing indigenous women. Art helps me with my mental health and a positive way to express myself. I struggle with perfection so went outside the lines to work on my own anxiety which was still tough to this day, but progress not perfection.
