Meet the artist: Robert Hughes
This mixed media chess board and pieces illustrates the tension between a prisoner and his capture. It's creation and has become a welcome distrcaction for both me and my ever present challenge to prison administration. The figureines are comprised of regular table salt and white rice with an acrylic coating for color. Thank you for sharing this moment with me as my spirit escapes the caverness existence of pirson.
