Inspiration:

My inspiration for both pieces has been for MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women), for all the women I have met and lost to domestic violence.

Artist statement:

Art has always been mine, and mine alone. I have learned to share my art and myself through my art. I have also become less critical of both.
