Why do you use the medium you use?

I love to use pencils when I'm drawing to create the shading in the art. I also love being able to correct a mistake with the magic of an eraser. 

What role does art play in your life?

Art is a way of articulating my expression without words. Art is a major role in every aspect of life. For art is the needle to a record player, to my veins.

What inspires you to create?

My pain and passions inspire my creativity. Some of the most painful experiences and passionate events help me create.

Transformation Statement

Transformation to me, is to grow, ascend, and to make decisions that make something or someone appear different. I have transformed my inner conversations from shaming myself to having compassion with my past and patience with my present. My hope for transformation is commitment to love self and others. I hope that we all transform fear into courage, pain into passion, and anger into Grace.
