Dear Community, We are honored to invite you to our upcoming exhibition for an experience that centers the voices, creativity, and humanity of artists living behind the walls. Opening April 19 through June 14, this new exhibit will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church in downtown Minneapolis and will feature powerful artwork created by individuals currently incarcerated across Minnesota as well as those who have come home. This year’s exhibition is guided by a deeply human question: “If your heart could speak, what would it say?” Through visual art and storytelling, the work explores identity, love, loss, resilience, and hope, inviting each of us to reflect on the shared emotional landscapes that connect us all. Throughout the run of the exhibition, we are offering a series of experiences designed to bring people together. including: Opening celebration and community gathering Interactive art and wellness experiences Film screenings that highlight the stories behind the work
These events are opportunities not only to view the art, but to engage more deeply with the stories, with one another, and with the ongoing work of creating a more just and compassionate world. We believe art has the power to foster connection and new ways of being. This exhibition is a reflection of that belief in action. We hope you will join us, bring a friend, or simply spend time with the artwork.
