Dear Friends,

As we close the chapter on Spoken Heart, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited the exhibition, attended events, shared the artwork with others, and supported the artists whose voices were at the center of this experience.

We are especially grateful to our board members, our amazing team of volunteers, the family members and oved ones of our artists and of course, our returning artists who joined us at our events throughout the exhibition. A special shout out to Molly Evans, who curated each event with love and care and Lori Burks, our volunteer coordinator, who makes sure our events are well-staffed and well-organized.

A special thank you to Westminster Presbyterian Church for opening your doors and creating a welcoming space for this exhibit to flourish. We are especially grateful to Jennifer Awes Freeman for her partnership, leadership, and belief in the power of art to foster healing, connection, and community dialogue.

There Is Still Time to Purchase Artwork

While the exhibition has officially ended, a number of artworks from Spoken Heart are still available for purchase. This is a final opportunity to bring home a meaningful piece from the collection while directly supporting the artists who created it.

Artwork purchases not only provide income to the artists but also help sustain Art from the Inside's mission of creating opportunities for artistic expression, personal growth, and public engagement for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals.
