The inaugural Restorative Arts Summit has been developed in collaboration with representatives from Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop, Ten Thousand Things, ReEntry Lab, and our Creative Pathways Fellows. 🕒 Time: 9-5pm This one-day summit is for those engaged in the arts as healing practice in response to incarceration. This innovative gathering will convene community organizations, advocates, artists, and directly impacted individuals and their loved ones across Minnesota. Why You Should Attend Hear from powerful voices — panelists and presenters with lived experience and expertise Engage hands-on in creative workshop sessions (writing, visual arts, music, art-making, etc.) Build connections with folks working in justice reform, arts-based advocacy, creatives, and wellness professionals Be inspired & energized to take ideas back to your circles, communities, and spheres of influence
Who is this for?
This summit is open to community members, artists, nonprofit professionals, criminal justice and social service practitioners, returning citizens, students, educators, and anyone interested in restorative arts and social change. Registration & Details
